![]() ![]() If you mess around too much, you might end up with a player who constantly slices the ball or never putts hard enough. However (and this a big However), you've got to be very careful when playing with your swing, as it will actually affect your game. For instance, you might bend your knee a bit more on your backswing, or twist your wrists on the follow through. After getting through the GameFace, you have the option of changing everything about your swing, changing the position of your hands, knees, and other body parts through a series of keyframes. ![]() Just like last year, Tiger's GameFace system is still the greatest character creation tool I've ever seen.įor those players that want to go all the way when customizing their characters, you can even create your own swing. The core gameplay has remained largely the same, but the additions to the customization tools and some new game modes manage to trump even last year's version, which didn't seem possible last September. So what did EA do to make this year's game better? Why they tore it down and started for scratch, of course! Well, that's actually a bit of a lie. For many people, Tiger Woods PGA Tour 2004 was the best golf game ever to grace a console, combining deep gameplay, an easy-to-use swinging mechanic, and some revolutionary customization tools. ![]()
